for part two of my fresher’s series, i’m focusing on what to expect from fresher’s week.
socialising is a huge part of your university experience, so don’t forget to balance the work and the play of uni life. after all, you’re paying £9250 a year to walk out of uni with a degree… but surely you want that money to cover more than just education? fresher’s week is the perfect intro to life as a student, and here are some of the biggest things you should expect.
fresher’s week is quite possibly the most surreal week of your university life. while it’s known as an excuse to get absolutely hammered without any judgement, fresher’s week is also your chance for first impressions, familiarising yourself with your new surroundings and exploring the other things uni life has to offer. these are just a few reasons why i’ve decided to help any of you fresher’s through the journey of starting uni with the littlest stress possible.
if you clicked on this expecting expert advice on fashion tips, i’m very sorry to disappoint. while i’m by no means qualified to be giving any advice remotely close to clothing, i thought a post about the essential types of clothing you’ll need at uni is a safer topic for me to cover. however, i definitely know a good deal when i see one so keep your eyes peeled for some “cheap (aka: student) finds” throughout the post.
